The HAWK Story
In the almost 20 years of John making holsters, John would often be asked by friends, “Hey, Any Chance you would make me a Sheath?” Depending on the friend (and the knife), John would say, “Let me see the knife.” The reason for the inspection was that some knives do not lend themselves to a great sheath fit. John has made hundreds of sheaths, and the fit and finish are just as meticulous and smooth as the holsters HAWG is known for.
HAWK Knife Sheaths have been carried all over the world! From African safaris to battle, to on father-and-son hunting trips in Alaska, and all points in between.
One of the comments we hear about knives here at hawgholsters.com is, 'I have a great knife, but I need a sheath that has as much thought in design as the knife maker put into the knife.'
That is where our master holster maker, John, comes into the fight for a better way to carry your knife.
Some of the designs John has created have been used for master production for the High Desert Blade Works Karambit by Tarani. Here at HAWG, we craft every sheath specifically for the knife it will carry. Hand-tune it and send it to the user.
